Season Dates

Ice fishing season runs December 15 – March 31 (weather dependent). Early season bookings are strongly recommended as our most popular dates fill fast.

Payment & Deposit

A 30% deposit secures your booking. Full payment is due 7 days before your trip date. We accept major credit cards, bank transfer, and PayPal.

Cancellation Policy

Full refund if cancelled 14+ days before. 50% refund for cancellations 7–13 days prior. No refund within 7 days, but free rescheduling offered once.

If a trip is cancelled due to unsafe ice conditions or severe weather, you receive a full refund or free rescheduling — no questions asked.

Everything families commonly ask before booking their ice fishing adventure with us.

We welcome children as young as 4 years old on our ice fishing trips. Our guides are experienced with young children and create a safe, fun environment for all ages. We have child-sized fishing rods and life jackets in all sizes. Parents are always actively involved in the experience.
Absolutely not! Zero experience required. We guide complete beginners and first-timers all the time — that's actually our favorite type of guest! Our guides provide a thorough introduction before any fishing begins. By the end of the session, your whole family will feel like experienced ice anglers.
We recommend layering: thermal base layer, insulating mid-layer (fleece), and a waterproof outer layer. Warm, waterproof boots are essential. We provide insulated ice fishing suits, gloves, and face coverings if needed. A detailed clothing guide is sent with your booking confirmation email.
Yes — safety is our highest priority. We only operate when ice is certified safe (minimum 4 inches for foot traffic, 8+ inches for our shelters). Every guide is certified in ice rescue and first aid. Children wear safety equipment at all times. We have conducted over 1,200 family trips without a single major safety incident.
Yes! Subject to local fishing regulations and size/catch limits. Our guides are fully licensed and ensure all legal requirements are met. We provide fish cleaning and packaging service so you can take your catch home. For the Explorer and Expedition packages, we can also cook the catch for you right on the ice!
Weekend spots (Friday–Sunday) typically book out 3–5 weeks in advance during peak season. We recommend booking at least 2–3 weeks ahead for weekdays and 4–6 weeks for weekends. The Winter Expedition overnight packages should be reserved 6–8 weeks in advance as they are extremely popular.
