Born From a Love of Ice Fishing & Family Bonds

It started on a cold January morning in 2014. Our founder, Nathan Carlson, took his daughter Emma on her first ice fishing trip. She caught a perch — and the absolute joy in her eyes changed everything. Nathan realized that ice fishing wasn't just a sport. It was a gateway to real family connection.

Within a year, Frost Lake Adventures was born. What started as a small operation on a single lake grew into a full-service family ice fishing company serving hundreds of families every winter season.

Today, we operate on six premium frozen lake locations, maintain a fleet of top-quality equipment, and employ a dedicated team of certified guides who genuinely love what they do.

  • Founded in Tashkent, Uzbekistan — serving families across Central Asia and beyond
  • Over 1,200 families guided since our first season
  • Fully licensed, bonded, and insured operation
  • Members of the Professional Ice Fishing Guides Association
  • Certified in wilderness first aid and ice safety rescue

The Principles That Guide Every Ice Fishing Trip

Three core values shape everything we do — from how we train our guides to how we design our packages.

Safety Above All

Every guide is certified in ice safety, wilderness first aid, and emergency rescue. We monitor ice conditions daily and never compromise on safety for any reason.

Genuine Care

We care deeply about every family that trusts us with their precious time together. Every interaction, from booking to the final catch, is handled with warmth and sincerity.

Uncompromising Quality

Premium equipment, expertly maintained shelters, fresh bait, and guides who never stop learning. We invest continuously to keep our experience best-in-class.

Making Ice Fishing Accessible for Every Family Member

Ice fishing can be intimidating for first-timers — especially when you have young children. That's why we've engineered every aspect of our trips to be welcoming, safe, and genuinely fun for the whole family.

Our guides start every session with a friendly 15-minute introduction to ice fishing basics. No prior experience needed whatsoever. By the time the first line is in the water, even the youngest family members feel confident and excited.

  • Child-sized equipment for young anglers
  • Heated shelters to keep the family warm and comfortable
  • Multiple ice holes per group for everyone to fish simultaneously
  • Regular catch-and-release or keep-and-cook options
  • Educational wildlife and nature talks included
